Haste project is actually Mad Riders

Ubisoft to publish Techland download title

The project at Ubisoft that was being developed under the codename “Project Haste” turns out to be called Mad Riders. The off-road racing title is being developed by Techland, which also developed another off-road title called Nail’d.

Mad Riders will be coming this spring for release on Xbox Live Arcade, PSN and PC. The game is best described as an off-road racing title with players performing aerials, stunts, and racing on a 45-track offering that will feature events all over the world. The multiplayer will offer play for up to 12 racers online as well as online leaderboards to track your progress.

While Nail’d was no Pure and was not that successful as far as its sales went, it actually was not a horrible effort for an off-road racer. Perhaps the more affordable and stripped down Nail’d sequel, which is Mad Riders, will be more successful for Ubisoft. We will have to wait and see.
