Atom D2550 coming in March

Written by Fudzilla staff

D2500 with somewhat faster GPU

Intel’s desktop Cedar Trail Atoms are starting to show in retail, following several lengthy and rather embarrassing delays.

As the first D2500 and D2700 chips start trickling down to retailers, Intel is already planning to introduce a revised version of the D2500, dubbed D2550.

The new chip is very similar to the D2500 and from what we can gather, it just has a higher base GPU clock, 640MHz versus 400MHz. The CPU clock is still 1.86GHz and the TDP stands at 10W.

The D2550 should show up next month and it will be followed by new mobile Cedar Trails, the N2650 and N2850.
